Cat whiskers install

Is there an alternate way to install cat whiskers on garnish moldings, instead of staples?

Thank you in advance.

Have you reached out to Vic Zamora to see if he has any suggestions?

I used .032" stainless steel safety wire.

I've tried calling Mr. Zamora and I voice mail full. No way to leave a message. But thank you.

Did you tie wire inside or out. I'm trying not to remove the stainless trim on outside. Thank you for the tip, I'll give that a try.

  • I removed the trim, wire twists on backside did not interfere with trim re-installation.

I have installed all of the replacement materials with small pop rivets. In the 70s, there were no black rivets. I painted the aluminum or steel black. Drill holes through the whiskers and stainless steel or the interior molding.
