Ideas For A "Cars" Sequel?

The neat thing about the "Cars" movie is that they left the door WIDE open for a sequel on so many levels. I thought it might be kinda neat to toss around a couple ideas.

Doc could meet up with an old rival of his... maybe call him "Barney Oldsmobile" (play on Barney Oldfield, the pioneer race car driver). Maybe make him the guy that caused Doc's crash in '54. They could have a grudge race or something.

Doc needs a girl. Maybe have him meet up with a nice, pretty widow orphan car--Katie Kaiser? (Us K-F guys can only hope...) :rolleyes:

Any thoughts, folks? I'd like to hear from your creative sides.

    Maybe they could set it in 51 and we could see Doc as the brash rookie.
