I'd also like to know if anyone has a template or installation instructions to mount one (Guide, looks like a lemon wedge)directly on the dash of a stepdown Thanks!0

Your dash face panel may already have a hole put in it by Hudson. Many dashes had a predrilled hole on the upper portion of the dash above the speed gauge. The vinyl covering hides this hole but in many cases you still can discover it.This is especially true for the later model stepdowns. Not all had one but many did. I would check there first.5433HET wrote:I'd also like to know if anyone has a template or installation instructions to mount one (Guide, looks like a lemon wedge)directly on the dash of a stepdown Thanks!0 -

Walt here; Lay under your dash on the drivers side and take an ice pick with you, now look above the emergency brake with a flash light, and you will see a 1/4 inch hole about 3 inches from the end, run your ice pick up through the center of the hole and that is where the view finder goes.0

Tip: the original bracket/stud is the same as a rear view mirror. Take a look0
