Radiator pressure

Did the 48 or 49 Hudsons use a pressurized radiator? If so, what was the lb rating on the cap? The parts book does not list a pressure cap for either year, but went to 7 lb for 1950.

As far as I remember, the '48 & '49 did not use a pressure radiator cap

If you want a pressure cap on the system, I'd keep it to 4lbs max up to 1947 models and 7lbs thru the 54 models. Hashes with A/c would probably require a 12 to 14 lb cap. Just my 2 cents worth.
