WINTER
Now that winter is here I want to install my recently rebuilt carb on my 54 wasp with 262 engine.
My question is: Should I start the car with the existing Carb on it and bring the car up to operating temperature THEN install the rebuilt Carb or Should I just
replace carbs with the car cold?
At the moment I can ONLY start the car with the current Carb by priming it with Gas
then letting it idle for about 10 minutes...I'd rather NOT having to do this when I put the new Carb on.
THANKS,
TOM

Install the new one cold. Then start the engine and tune from there.0

...and don't forget to install plenty of spacer gaskets above and below the metal heat deflector. You don't want that nice new carb to get hot, and let you down on a warm day!0
