White Triangle News Magazines to give away
I received this information on an email and thought I would post the information here. Would be a great way for a new member to get free back issues. Not sure if they are still available but worth a call if interested. Doug
I failed to send this e-mail two weeks ago when Paul Minor asked me to, but here goes.
He has about 25 years of WTNs in perfect condition if anyone is interested. He is going to "dump" them if no one wants them (and may have already since I am late). If interested, contract Paul at 615-591-9188.
Paul lives in Franklin, TN so that's where the WTNs are.

I HAVE AN IDEA RATHER THAN DUMP THEM WHY NOT GIVE THEM TO A VETERANS HOSPITAL OR CENTER A SMALL WAY OF THANKING OUR GREAT GUYS FOR THERE SERVICE I HAVE ASKED OVER THE YEARS FOR OVER PRINT WTN'S SO I COULD GIVE THEM OUT AT CAR SHOWS THINKING MAYBE WE COULD GET A NEW MEMBER OR 2 I THINK BOTH WAYS ARE BETTER THAN THROWING THEM AWAY0

i called and left a message. i was hoping i could just pay for the shipping up front and maybe they could send them in flate rate boxes. i only have 3 years or so so i would enjoy reading the old ones. i undestand them not going to a bunch of trouble, but flat rate boxes are pretty easy and no question on what shipping would be.0

I dropped him an email last night - being in Franklin, which is about 3 hours from me, I told him I could come over and pick them up. Of course with gas prices the way they are shipping would probably be cheaper. LOL I'd like to put them in the online library, despite it being a lot of scanning.
So far no reply here either. Weekend probably.

i got a call back from him this evening and they are already gone. i really enjoyed talking with him though, what a interesting fellow! he is 92 and worked in a hudson dealership for several years. he also raced hudsons back in the day as well. our short chat was just as good as the free wtns.0

Thanks for the update hoggyrubber. I'm not to disappointed - not sure if I'd really like to take the time to scan some 150 WTN's. Tho the resource would be priceless. I got to start leaning on Walt Noreen - somebody dropped a bunch of older WTN's on the club store couple national meets back.
