My son-in-law surprised me with this table that the 'dealer' at the antique show in Bouckville, NY said was given away with new Hudsons. Anybody ever seen one or heard of this? There is a name 'Herb Worfel' on the frame. Anybody ever heard of him. Can't find him in rosters going back to 89.

Not to be negative, but this could be something that a local Hudson dealer gave away with new Hudsons, and was not part of a national Hudson campaign. Then again, the table might indeed have been purchased for a national giveaway campaign during the "AMC years", due to the table manufacturer's proximity to Kenosha.0

What ever it is, it is a good story. Would be fun to have so that when I "tailgate" in my car I would have a place for my burger and hot dog fixings....0

Never was giving away by any Hudson dealer. I started working at a Hudson dealer in 1936, and never saw anything like that. Just another item maybe a dealer used to draw some business. Walt.0

Many Hudson dealers did sell Thermaster coolers and hot-cold beverage jugs back in the early 1950's.0
