Pipe From waterpump

John, no clips or anything ... the rigidity of the pipe keeps it in place, If not pointed in the right direction (parallel with the head), turn the fitting at the water pump to change direction slightly. Usually you can turn the big fitting a little without causing a leak.0

It is held by a metal strap on one of the head bolts near where the tube turns upward. I probably have a used on on an old engine if you need one,

If you look between the carbs on this one you can see it. This is a 308 but the 262 & 232 are simmilar set ups,

Well, by golly, I stand (or sit) corrected. Found that clip in the parts book, and I think I have one in the "don't recall what this is for" collection! Must have gone astray when I had the engine out and apart back in 2001-04.0
