I have an engine from a 37 with sending unit in it. I dont know its condition but its available if you want it,

The 39 is too short. One I need is about 3" long with 1/2" pipe thread. I will get a picture, when I am at garage.0

According to the 1927-1950 Numerical Parts Interchange book, Element-Cyl Hd Temp Indicator part number 150553, was used on 1936 Models 62-67 and 1937-1938 all models.
(Model 61's didn't have a temperature gauge.)
