37 hood trim clips

anyone know of a source for the side trip clips that go on a 37 hood?

    I'm fairly sure they don't fit other cars, or at least that they are no longer available. (I looked 40 years ago with no luck). Best bet is to find someone who parts out '37's like Robbie Williams, and ask if he has some spares to sell.

    Have you looked in the Restoration Specialties catalog? They won't list hood trim clips for Hudson or Terraplane, but often searches through other period-correct marques will produce clips that are either spot-on or so close that they will work for a given application. I've found several examples for step-down clips through RS.
